The conference will take place in the Nancy Rothwell building at the University of Manchester.

Manchester is a major transport hub – you can find more information about getting here at Visit Manchester. In terms of getting about the city when you are here, the central districts are very walkable but if you wish to use public transport you can find information about bus and tram (light rail) services at the Transport for Greater Manchester website or on their Bee Network app.

- Manchester Oxford Road railway station: 0.4 miles.
- Manchester Piccadilly railway station/Metrolink stop: 0.8 miles.
- Peter's Square Metrolink stop: 0.7 miles.
 

From Manchester Airport to the City Centre

By Train: The train route (to Oxford Road Station or Manchester Piccadilly Station) takes between 18-21 minutes, they run every 10 minutes via the operators TransPennine Express or Northern Rail. There is also a much slower Metrolink (tram) service to the city but we advise you to take the train!
 

By Taxi: This journey takes around 20 minutes without traffic. No advanced booking is required.

£25-£35 depending on time and traffic. A taxi rank for Black Cabs is located outside each terminal. You may also request a pickup from a private hire service such as Street Cars, Uber or Bolt.

By Bus: Take Route 43 from Manchester Airport Bus Station to Piccadilly Gardens, passing through Oxford Road University Shopping Centre (Stop C). The journey takes 35-45 minutes with multiple stops, but is the most economical option.

Car Park B: Aquatics Centre Multi-Storey Car Park, M13 9SS. (Access to thecar park is via Booth Street East).

Car Park D: Booth Street West Car Park , M15 6AR. (Access to the car park is via Higher Cambridge Street).
